Phillips 66’s Young Eagle’s Video Features EAA Chapter 302 & Galaxy FBO
Phillips 66 recently featured The Woodlands High School TX-20062 Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps at the Galaxy FBO on a special video to promote EAA’s Young Eagle Program.
The aviation industry is facing a shortage of pilots. As more captains reach mandatory retirement at 65, the deficit could reach 15,000 pilots by 2026. To help reverse that trend, the Experimental Aviation Association created the Young Eagles program that introduces children to the joy of flight and the industry. Since its inception in 1992, the program has flown over 2 million kids with the help of volunteer pilots and ground personnel.
The Phillips 66 Aviation fuel brand has been a long-time financial sponsor of the program, providing incentives for pilots flying Young Eagles. The promotional video features Experimental Aviation Association’s local chapter – EAA Chapter 302‘s Young Eagle activities at Galaxy FBO.
Galaxy FBO hosts EAA Chapter 302’s monthly meetings every 2nd Saturday of the month at the Conroe North Houston Regional Airport (CXO) in Conroe, Texas.
