It’s the most wonderful time of the year! They say it’s not the gift, the thought that counts- but when you need to find the perfect gift for the aviation enthusiast (a.k.a AvGeeks), here is our 2015 list we put together.
The holiday season is officially upon us and that means it’s time to find the perfect gift for the AvGeek in your life. Pilots and aviation enthusiasts are all alike in the fact that they are difficult to buy for. With their very particular and expensive tastes, finding a gift they really want isn’t always easy.
The 19th Annual Children’s Festival took place at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on November 8th and 9th this year, attracting over 10,000 kids & families.
Presented by ExxonMobil, the focus of the Children’s Festival is on the performing and visual arts for children, not only to amuse them but also provide inspiration to help young children broaden their horizons, tap into their talents and ignite their creativity. At the Galaxy FBO Fly Zone kids built their own kites and see it take flight and also participated in parachute races.
Galaxy FBO now has a second location serving the air traffic in North Houston and the Montgomery County, Texas.
The FAA-approved heliport features a 80 feet by 80 feet concrete pad and hangar space for helicopter storage. The facility is located close proximity to The Woodlands Town Center in Oak Ridge North.
