West Star Aviation is expanding their satellite location network to Conroe-North Houston Regional Airport (KCXO). This satellite location will service Gulfstream, Falcon, Bombardier, Hawker, and Citation aircraft in Texas and the surrounding southern region. The new satellite location at KCXO will be able to perform minor inspections and repairs including A checks, 12 and 24 month inspections.

New BasicMed (FAR Part 68) goes into effect on May 1, 2017. Pilots operating under Part 91 who have held an FAA medical certificate within the past 10 years will soon have an alternative, voluntary means to certify they are healthy enough to fly.
